Our Story
It Started with a Dream
2007, Surat, Gujarat. A young founder named Atul Vekariya opened a small bakery with a conviction that felt radical at the time: that a bakery could be 100% eggless and still be extraordinary. No compromises on softness, on richness, on celebration.
The neighborhood agreed. Then the city. Then the state. Within a decade, Atul Bakery had become Gujarat's fastest-growing bakery chain, with its own manufacturing units, a live cake shop, and a Guinness World Record to its name.
In 2021, the first international store opened in New Jersey, not as an experiment, but as a homecoming for thousands of families who grew up with our khari, our cassata, our birthday cakes. And in 2024, Canada joined the family.
Today, whether you walk into our Surat flagship or our Catonsville counter, the rule is the same one from 2007: if it isn't fresh, it doesn't leave the kitchen.
